ajwd, Obstrct - Secret Library (Ayako Mori Remix)

The tenth release sees label owners ajwd & Obstrct deliver their first EP on Floor Ready. 'Secret Library' is a healthy slice of tribal techno, with a weighted synth stab that bounces itself around the tightly woven percussion and bass. Callum Plant takes 'Secret Library' and treats it with his signature jacking drums, whilst the main synth is de-constructed into a classic techno chord line. Rising Colombian producer Alessan Main turns the original on its head, pushing the elements back behind a wall of dark grooves that rolls in the front of flashes of haunting strings. Ayako Mori's remix is a lo-fi exploration of rhythmic percussion and wobbly sub undertones.
