Experimental conscious/redpill label. Mostly for the work of singer/rapper/songwriter/multiinstrumentalist/producer/
comedian/writer Xylen Roberts. Xylen makes experimental eclectic electropop/art rock/hiphop/industrial/alternative music under the Xylen Roberts project but also varied instrumentals under the name Mythshifter and lo-fi psych folk/indie rock/neo-folk under the name Phantom Fingers. Been blowing the assholes of genre AND topical limitations open wide for 20 years. The music is as likely to be politically and philosophically challenging as it is musically.

Since 2017, I have also done a variety of comedy and/or drama sketches, short stories, and discussions in addition to the music in either video form or podcast form. All of the podcasts and some excerpts can be found on this site but the videos can be found on my BitChute and JoshWhoTV, links below. I plan on producing a limited run radio serial/music theater sort of thing in 2020/21 following the surreal, conscious/redpill adventures of a group of freedom fighters.

Update Summer 2020: Been working hard on TWO MASSIVE ALBUMS I have planned for release by the end of the year. Unlike previous albums, in which I lump all the disparate styles together onto a single album, I am trying something different by making two different albums seperated by mood. A Shoe-In For The Shut-In Awards will be an album of nothing but emotive alternative/art rock anthems and ballads. It will feature studio versions of '5G' (of which I am also releasing a single for soon), 'Animal Kingdom' and other anthem type songs that have been floating around the Internet in demo form for a few years, as well as new stuff (including new song 'Chinatown', which discusses Covid-19 and Commie China). The other album, working title Essential Travel, by contrast, will focus on the more experimental and industrial side of things. A single for one of these songs entitled 'My God Machine' will also be coming soon. Both albums will continue the exploration of long epics that I created with 2019's Reveal The Pattern and the Mythshifter album Seven Lucky Visions.

Starting August 2020, I will also start livestreaming once (maybe more) a week, brining back the Various Vortices podcast. However, unlike previous episodes, the focus will be mostly on live at-home music performance and discussions and only the occassional comedy skits and such as I have not been doning much of that lately. Music is definitely the main focus atm.Expect to hear lots of new stuff from the upcoming albums but also some old favorites.

The label used to be co-owned by Russel Hawkins over on the now ghosted/shadowbanned/censored Bandcamp site, which I am merely keeping until they delete it to use as evidence of how I am being censored by Bandcamp, in conjunction with a soon to be released video documenting this.
