Since 2008 he has been working as a sound designer and editor and in 2012 he released the EP Emilia de Negro. In 2017 he integrated the electronic music band “La Perseguidora” and currently “555”. Lazaro is his most recent DJ project, in wich he plays mostly Techno.

Originally from La Paz, Bolivia, Nicolas and Christian decided to merge their musical alter egos when they met again in Bordeaux, France where they became Gentry.

The duo experiments within the genres of techno, minimal and progressive but tries to draw inspira- tion from rock and funk as well as jazz and experi- mental. In 2016 they joined the collective and label Happily Ever Recordings (HEARec) where they decided to drop their private projects all together and shift into fast gear with Gentry and have evolved rapidly since.

Today the duo manages the moving parts of HEARec themselves and are always on the lookout for new artists and expressions to join their ranks and grow together with.
