Jam session from April 27th, re-recorded with lyrics on April 28th, acoustic guitar and vocals only. Originally it was meant to be 'In Caledonia' (pronounced Caledon-eye-ay)... despite this, the song is not about Scottish independence! The lyric was inspired by those who have survived horrible treatment from their ex-partners - fortunately not something I have experienced myself. The original lyric was 'My first mistake, I never thought you lied'... strangely, it sounded a bit like '4th of July', and hence the 'Independence Day' connection, which doubles up as meaning freedom from a poor relationship.

The artwork was cobbled together from some stock images I found on the internet, and then photoshopped together to make a retro vinyl record sleeve.

Drums added and remixed July 3rd, 2015... :)
