Profile description of Andy Rise:

Are there any words one could actually put together to describe Andy Rise ? I guess it depends who you asked and more specifically when you ask them ……

Andy’s quest to notoriety first started off 15 years ago promoting a small midweek hard house night in Blackpool under the name Mr Grundy …... fast forward 5 years and Andy had become one of the most talked about dj’s in the industry holding residencies at both superclub Frantic & 3 x best Small Club winners Cyberkitten and guesting for every brand and festival worth it’s salt across the UK ………. Fast forward another 10 years to the present day and Andy is a busy as ever, having left his management agency to take back complete control of his affairs, his forthcoming album The Shenanigator is finally wrote and almost ready to be finished mixing down, The Rise On studio doors are finally open for all aspects of engineering and tutoring whether it’s production, mixing or a hand in making dank memes (‘’,) also plans for a new and regular podcast / stream are all in the pipeline entitled ‘’The Cheeky Sodcast’’. Even with one gig left in his diary and no 100% plans to play out until the album launch party he couldn’t be any busier, or much happier for that matter.

Away from Hard House Andy has finally got his bottom into gear to tackle a new project involving journalism / comedy & some may say truth seeking / comspiracy theories (putting the comedy in rumours) after having his eyes opened to the darker sides of the music industry and counter culture movements by Uk based dj & journalist Mark Devlin. Andy has also tried putting his musical knowledge to much more useful means by looking deeply into sound healing and the positive and negative effects certain frequencies can have on the body and mind, after having spent most his adult life suffering from depression but having come out of the other end it’s one of his missions to try and share some of the things he’s learned on how to improve ones health and life.
