"Bar Harbor" is probably my favorite @Lindsay-Lowend track and it's somehow mysteriously vanished into the ether, nowhere to be found but third-party YouTube channels.

I'll put it up as a free download once I can get someone to help me mix it down and master it correctly. Though I do feel I'm getting better at it with each song I make!

Couldn't even figure out a remix name for this since I don't really have an artist name anymore.

I've been absolutely obsessed with Porter Robinson's "Worlds" album since it came out. The entire album is absolutely beautiful and "Flicker" remains to be one of my favorite songs from it. What started out as a simple hardcore edit of the song became pretty much a full-blown remix. If only I somehow had the stems it would sound much better. I spent pretty much all of last night on it, getting ideas out of my head and implemented.

Will I ever finish it? Who knows. Uploading to SoundCloud seems to be the kiss of death for stuff I work on, lol.

Anyway, I recently heard a sample Darren Styles uploaded to his SoundCloud entitled "Talk" (check out the sample here if you'd like to compare). This song has been stuck in my head every since he uploaded it and I wanted to learn how to slide notes in FamiTracker so I took it as a perfect opportunity to try transcoding it into the 2A03 style (authentic NES, for the laymen).

It turns out that it wasn't as hard or as daunting as I thought it would be to use FamiTracker. The only thing still bothering my OCD is the fact that you can't (as far as I know) move around patterns from one value to another which makes the frame editor look like a mess and is confusing when wanting to find certain patterns.]]>
