The original is a groovy mixture of techno meets tech-house meets progressive. A crisp groove that builds slowly up layer after layer combined with the driving percussions and a potent bass line get the whole thing going properly, while the synth lines and various sweeps and pitched down vocal samples build up the tension.

Vazik add a deeper touch with softer groove, but cleverly using the potent bass line from the original and adding some warm pads and spaced out effects. the result is a hypnotic and versatile version that will appeal to a plethora of djs!

Ian Dillon cleverly chops up the main bass riff and backs it up with a razor sharp groove and adds some mad synth lines that add a proper rave-y feeling which keeps building and building to a mad effect in the second half till the main break where a gentle female chant comes in before the groove and synth lines start building up again to cause some more mayhem.

Imaginary People is a deep and beautifully layered techie affair, full of groove and warmth thats straddles several musical genres with its sophistication.

David Young is back to the label after his stunning collaboration with Dibby Dougherty back in 2011.
This time he rides solo with 'War Of Buttons' followed by two excellent remixes from Sonic Union & Alex Nemec and Neil Browne.
David's original is a stunning piece of melodic techno.
Full of warm synth lines and evolving pads to rhythmic chords and progressions which we find backed with a strong groove and all meticulously mixed with lots of attention to detail, these are the things that make this track an essential tool for lovers of the genre.
First up on remix duty we have the Lowbit head honcho Sonic Union who teams up with our main man Alex Nemec. The guys's first ever project together sees them take things deeper but still with a nod to the original.
A thick groove slowly builds up with cleverly programmed percussive elements while a deep bass makes the bottom end groove. The pads and synth lines keep slowly coming in the mix and provide a perfect combo of deep and hypnotic feelings to it.
The second remix comes courtesy of a regular Mirabilis bomber - Neil Browne.
Neil has been making a buzz lately with his releases on Kyubu, Detone and Stripped amongst others.
His remix keeps things on a techy and hypnotic vibe with a devastating arp line that keeps spinning above the groove, slowly building up with a growling bass line that takes the track on a wilder route.

The first of the EP is Nik Feral & Alex Nemec's remix of 'It Works', and boy does it! A brutal, low-slung production. Immaculate bass work leads the way with an undercurrent of well laid beats and distant synth stabs; theres no denying this was made for relentless lazer-enduced dancefloors.

Arkadia's dropped the tempo a huge amount on his efforts for 'It Works', punchy simplistic tech-house allows a magnificent undercurrent of synth work to flow through the track, the bass is polished and the new synth work breathes a new vision into the production allowing it's acidic tendencies to shine through. Some would say a nod to the works of Daniel Avery, what do you think?

Diction finishes off the release with a bang with their take on 'Dub Voices', a devilish slice of big room techno, shows yet another immaculate, punchy, wobbling bassline, periodically growling with a gutsy detuned and dropped vocal whilst being stabbed at with ethereal cymbals and glitches. Something to truly get that top lip riding up!

Production work quickly followed and almost 250 credits sitting proudly next to the Andrez name for such luminary imprints as Kansak, Enhanced and Balkan Connection South America. A deep bass vibe at its heart, the original mix pushes relentlessly forward with dynamic percussion arrangement and hypnotic, pulsating beat. Former drum and bass star from the Greek capital, Athens based producer, Advent's Rising turned “360 degrees” to find a home within the progressive scene. A decade of experience on the DJ circuit within his homeland laid the foundations for a raft of releases since 2011’s debut on No Border Recordings. Over 20 production credits already for Suffused Music now sees Advent’s Rising take on Andrez with a slick reworking that combines the deep vibe of the original with additional urgency in the shape of subtle melodic variation that brings a new level of intrigue to “In Your Afterglow”.

Formerly half of the iconic pairing of Alex and Filip that dominated the underground scene with remixes of Dave Seaman, Trafik and Kassey Voorn, Alex Nemec needs little introduction to the musical cognoscenti. His work supported by the leading lights from Marco Bailey and John Digweed to Tiësto and Mark Knight, the head of the successful Mirabilis records now teams up with UK producer, Nik Feral. From his home in Manchester, Feral’s growing reputation was quickly cemented after signing to UMEK’s 1605 - MUSIC THERAPY imprint in 2011 and supported by the likes of Pig&Dan and Laurent Garnier. Thus, a plethora of credits can be found under the Mancunian’s name with a quarter of century alongside Nemec. Reworking Andrez, the duo’s remix of “In Your Afterglow”, reveals a dark hypnotic rhythm that lurks menacingly with strong house beat and cavernous bass, resonant of the original. A cleverly worked riff plays on the omnipresent darkness creating a techno driven monster.

After years spent studying the techniques and inspired by the sounds of Sasha and Digweed, Dutch producer, Jaap Ligthart, saw a passion for electronic music translated into appearances on Dutch national radio and support for his work from some of the industry’s finest names. Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo and Jody Wisternoff have all featured DJ Jaap Ligthart’s work in their sets for labels such as Black Hole Recordings and Manual Music. Taking driving rhythms as a starting point that propel his work forward, Ligthart’s remix of Andrez fills “In Your Afterglow” with a clever interpretation of the melodic themes present in the original mix to create a throbbing, filtered version to keep club floors full.

Final offering comes from Australian born producer, Matter. A student of the dance floors of Melbourne and London, time spent in his studio crafting “deep synth lines, driving bass and pulsating rhythms”, has been rewarded with recognition from such imprints as Stellar Fountain Records and Balkan Connection. Making his debut on Suffused Music, a deliciously bouncing bass line provides the foundation for intricate and immaculately programmed percussive rhythms to create a tightly locked groove. Echoes of the motif so prominent in the original are then treated to extra sheen as glitch and stutter provide added dimension to create an impressive rework of Andrez.

Remixing this track os none other then the inspiring James Monro, giving us his vision and interpretation on "Sway". Brilliant as expected, deep, elegant, engaging, with intricate, detailed synth textures, and superb percussive elements, no short of amazing.

Also remxing "Sway" are Alex Nemek and Nik Feral making their debut on 24 Hours, with a consistent and effective groove, keeping some of the original mood.

"Life" it's a clean, sharp, and elegant tune, haunting leads and vocal cuts, churning with effective and carfully placed percussion, two thumbs up.

Remixing "life" is Peter Wagner delivering probably one of his best recent reworks, keeping some elements intact, pacing the whole track with a deeper, clean and elegant vision.]]> "Sway" comes from the deep, with dubby stabs, and an aquatic feel to the whole track, the perc work is sharp and effective, progressing gently into this hipnotic and cinematic landscape.

"Homenaje", the first of the two original productions, steers itself to a more dramatic atmosphere with it's airy melancholic pads & subtle hypnotic melodies, while steadily thumping the floors with a heavy groove. The lone remix comes from 'Alex Nemec & Nik Feral', a fairly new duo, but the two have been doing some stellar work separately. Alex, known best for his earlier work as 'Alex & Filip' as well as running his stellar label - Mirabilis, has had chart topping productions on well respected labels like Tronic, Flow Vinyl & Respekt amongst many others. Nik, on the other hand, has been churning out his tough productions on the MUM UK, Cubism as well the mighty 1605. Together, their remix of "Homenaje" takes the groovier approach with quick stabby chords, futuristic synth lines & rhythmical percussions while still capturing & complimenting the original's magical atmosphere.

"Technology", the second offering from Diego, quickly establishes its melodic characteristics from get-go. A simple plucked melody, joined with a growling bassline, spaced chords stabs, airy pads drive the track forward to meet a gorgeous arpeggiated riff during the second half of the track. We give the sole remix duties to a fellow Argentinian, 'Demian Moreno', that has been making quite a name for himself through his productions on Particles, Bermudos & Balkan Connection, leading him to be charted quite frequently on many top players in the industry. Demian provides his 'Space Dub' interpretation, completely taking the original to another territory, more specifically - astral. Dreamy lullaby-like arpeggiated melodies, soaring lead synth lines and clever percussive bits aided by dashes of reverb place itself as the backbone while the deep bass & heavy kick creates a dubby groove.

PRESS RELEASE:
'Hydrogen And Helium' is the debut release for the Irish man John O'Connor on our label and it can't get any better!
The original mix is a techno progressive monster with a pulsating bass line that drives the whole track along the crispy groove filled up with tons of effects while synth riffs make their way into the mix and deliver great atmosphere to this peak time monster.
Greek star Pete Mccarthey gives it touch and takes the track rolling with a techy rolling groove full for glitches and skippy percussions while the deep bass full fills the groove and devastating synth stabs and spaced out effects give the extra touch.
Label head Alex Nemec teams up with Manchester rising star Nik Feral for another collaboration on this remix. Based around a dirty synth riff and the potent groove with plenty of layers that keep building through the track and then drops into the intense breakdowns, this remix is all about the energy for the dancing floor.
Colin McNeil delivers a classy melodic and deeper version. Crisp beats, cleaver drum programming work perfectly with the potent bass line while lush synths and warm chords and synth stabs keep building spaced out atmosphere with the help of cosmic soundscapes and warm pads.

Mirabilis celebrates its 3rd year with a release from Alex & Filip!
While Alex & Filip have been making a name for them selves with releases and remixes on labels like Respekt, Tronic, Flow, Rekluse, MUM and Baroque to name a few in the last two years, Mirabilis has grown and has gained quite a large fan base around the globe.
Now it is time for Alex & Filip to return home with 'The Future'!
A grooving, bass heavy and somehow old school chord led track that crosses the lines between tech-house and techno in its original version. This has been getting very early support from Hernan Cattaneo, Tom Hades and Christian Smith!
The dub takes things on a more sinister route but still keeping the old school flava of the original. A more complex percussive pattern is added to the basic groove and a deeper, darker bass-line adds the more menacing feel to it, but when the modified and effected main riff comes in, it still makes the difference!
On the remix front, Robot Needs Oil turns it into an epic house remix with a softer, funkier groove. Keeping the main line intact he opted for the more melodic side with an additional piano line, guitar licks and warm sounding soundscapes that make the track build ups. A bit after the half there is a wicked guitar line that takes over and really smashes it! Robot Nees Oil on fire once again!
Neil Browne serves us with potent beats, driving and crisp percussion and a super charged bass line that all cross the paths with the cut up and looped original parts to create a hypnotic feel that keeps building up through the whole remix. This is a true weapon for the all of you who like things from techno to progressive and all in between! Neil once again proves himself as a name to watch!
Praveen Achary lets the main line a bit loose in the mix and with the addition of big sweeps, pulsating bass tones and cosmic soundscapes builds a hypnotic track that is insanely infectious! This young man has certainly a bright future ahead!
