Moments In Love
-Excerpt from my book – True Inner Thoughts “The Courtship begins –

I remember these moments once upon a time....
but now, all in time has been lost in time.

Seasons change and memories fade from my mind,
Only to be awaken by a familiar scent realized in this now space and time.
I dare not look or acknowledge in this now space and time.

For my fear is reliving those “Moments in Love” coming around again in this time.
You see, my hearts mind can no longer go through this wined & rewind.
If I look can you, will you and do you have the tools in your box to….
Fill this void that I hold… for my wounded soul? Can you truly again give me those
“Moments in Love”?

Yes, I know that you can’t make me happy, you can only show me happiness…
Well, can you just do that?

If you can -
Then and only then will I realize the truth behind those & these promises of.... “Moments in Love”.

So, we’re at the conclusion of those moments of your lingering scent, the look you give me with your gorgeous eyes, the cool wetness of your lips as you whisper in my ear, when I hold you close…. I can feel your heartbeat and my imagination says…. oh dear!

I can go on, but the rest I will save for your return and I will greet you with a “darling dear”.
Tears I will not shed; faint of heart I shall not be….
I know that you will one day fill this void for me and will forever be, my “Moments in Love” for all eternity.
