...Fennec& Wolf. It´s a project of the Cologne-based DJ Mourad Kehailia, who is following his citys techno tradition with his fresh and powerful sounds. He doesn’t simply ruminate the Rheinish techno establishment - with his sound hes chosen a different path. A path that makes his music stand out as something unique. Stripped down to it’s essentials, it excels at one of electronic music’s prime functions: to make people dance. Where other producers start getting dodgy and lose themselves in sound patterns that appear more like mathematical equations, Fennec & Wolf focus on what he loves most about electronic music: letting those beats sprawl all over the urban dance floors and creating an atmosphere where we can forget everything else around ourselves. His recipe is straight forward: putting all the joy and affection he has for electronic music into his productions and sets, using clean rhythms and driving house sounds. The result creates a constant high among their audiences - something that one would not expect to find in conventional club music. “This should be played at high volume”, says the intro of the Fennec & Wolf track “Losmachen” - a claim that couldn’t be more true for his music
