Among them was my good, good friend, my family, and my child in this music: the legendary DJ Fresh International.\r\n\r\nBack in 2017, I had the privilege of introducing Fresh to the Soca world. Watching his rise was pure joy. He didn&#039;t just play music; he felt it. Known to everyone as &quot;The Drumming DJ,&quot; he quickly became the premier Soca DJ in the Bahamas because of his fearless spirit, his incredible musicality, and a heart that was always willing to listen, try, and grow. He wasn&#039;t just a brilliant business mind; he was a beautiful soul who wasn&#039;t afraid to fail on his way to greatness.\r\n\r\nMore than a colleague, Fresh was my family. This episode of Wake Up Soca Party is a heavy one, poured out in tears and absolute love. It is a dedicated tribute mix for my fallen feter.\r\n\r\nTurn this up, let the drums hit your soul, and help me celebrate a young titan gone far too soon.
