Elegance with a touch of grit is a proper description for this release titled "Promiscuous Lawyer (Lovely Ankles) by Hidden Measure's main man Daniel Yanov out of San Francisco. The idea behind the concept takes you back to the times when class and elegance meant something much more than our views on society that we currently focus on today. It was sense of status within communities and the strive to be accepted within the trends. It also encompasses the time when it wasn't quite accepting to promote sexual behavior and skimp clothing but rather be discreet and indulge in more privacy hence the term promiscuous. During the 40's the 'pin-up' girl was every man's fantasy and an escape from the war like trends during that time. The cover art and samples used in the tracks encompasses just that. Daniel Yanov's original stays true to the relevance with its deep, sophisticated qualities and takes you back to a time when warmth was valued instead of compression, dreamy and old timey with provocativeness.

Label boss Rolando on the remix comes up with his deep but yet powerful rendition. He manages to stay true to the original but provides his own personal, tailored elements that defines his unique style. He wanted to keep the sophistication in tact but was determined to add some grit that compliments the original elements well.

On the flipside, the Daya and Rolando's AlterTechno remix take it full force with powerful, industrial techno! A no holds barred, assembly of filthy, big room driven sounds that Daya is becoming known for and what Rolando is trying to showcase on the darker side of his label.
