He played at some parties across northern Germany, the recently well noticed "Trancecube" event and several times in Berlin, Lübeck and Essen at different events. His classical background causes his understanding and feeling for music which you can hear in his sets playing electronic dance music as well as chillout.
Over the years he also came into producing, resulting so far in remixes for the renowned artists like Ingo Vogelmann or FloE. Addliss has released with several labels like Dirt, Lies & Audio, friskyRecords, Kalimira Music, Condura Recordings or other sublabels of Redux Recordings and there's more to come!
His show "Waves" on FRISKY is representing his smooth, chilly side with chillout tunes, while the show "In Between" represents the dance beats between Deep House, Progressive House and Progressive Trance. Don't miss out on his Podcast "Epiphany of Sound" as well where he presents Uplifting Trance beats every month!</itunes:summary>

It has - once again - been some time since I mixed a real new mix. The last episode featuring the best of Polar Impact Records of 2025 was a recap of the year and now I'm back for some new music. I had to feature some of the hottest labels, artists and tracks at the moment, like: Poolzn Bladz, Eximinds, Maya Wolff, Rafal Golda and many more. So this episode is some minutes longer than usual!

The classic came from 2009, when Dreas remade their own "Havannah" and let some remixers get their hands on the track. This wraps the mix around and gives it the right note at the end!

So press Play and enjoy!

"Epiphany of Sound" returns with the well known mixture of starting progressive beats evolving to uplifting melodies banging through your speakers later on. Expect new music by Farius, Ferry Tayle, Paul van Dyk, ReOrder and many many others. The classic had to be "Uppsala" by Nikolauss, which is a tune from 2019, but turned classic instantly for me.

What does usually take time and comes in with a bang? Right - it's "Epiphany of Sound" and this time it's kind of a tribute episode for some older tracks. Of course I included newer tunes by Mazeev, Corrie Theron, BIS or Miditekk. But there are also older tracks by Cressida remixed by Stoneface & Terminal, Solarstone remixed by Stowers & Bostock or the iconic Andy Blueman with classic tunes from the 2010 era. I just rediscovered some of them recently and had to play them.

Finally here it is: The yearmix for 2021. Following the experience of recent years I boiled it down to 2 mixes with 12 tracks each. I figured out most of the tracks I picked in longer sessions are "good" but don't always represent the really "best" in the year. So this time you'll hear tracks by Temple One, Roman Sand, Bryan Kearney, Cold Blue and many others. There's no classic here, just the best of 2021!
So this is "New Tomorrow" reminiscing all the hardship, but also telling a musical story not to lose hope for a bright future - however and whenever it might occur. It is about movie scores, movie score like ambient tunes and some classical music. Jaded played some Alexandre Desplat, Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, or Thomas Newman - some of the most iconic score composers. I picked some music from Harry Gregson Williams, William Orbit, A Cerulean State, or Vince Forwards - also some score music, but surrounded by Ambient music.

So now dive deep into relaxation and the sweet sounds of "New Tomorrow".

Now I found the time to finish it and I like to hear it time and time again! It's an uplifter, it's melodic and I tried to make it a little bit heavy in the bassline, too.
I'm not 100% sure about the mastering, but I've worked on it so much, maybe I just need your pairs of ears - and I'll update the Master later, if anything arises.
<itunes:summary>Now here it is! This track blew me away back in 2013 and I've had that project lying around.

My Top3 track is by a pretty unknown artist on a smaller label, but I love this composition and production by Enmax! No. 2 by Saato also meets up with this quality, No. 1 by James Dymond & Chris Schweizer even puts in some Psy elements which in this case totally fits!
Normally I don't participate in this kind of competitions, but this time I tried to take a chance at a great original track. My friend Magdelayna even won third place with his Chillout remix, now he got the release on Adjusted Recordings! Even though I didn't win I was pretty happy with my remix and so here it is for you to enjoy. Since I didn't get permission for a download from Steve, it will be "play only" on Soundcloud & hearthis. Enjoy!

The name giving track of their album, also 2004, was part of so many unforgettable nights - for me and a lot of other club goers all over the world!

Now it comes in Ambient/Chillout style which I thought would really fit the beautiful melody Giuseppe & Andrea created back then!

After consulting Giuseppe I can't give this away for free, but he allowed me to upload the track here.

Back in the 2000s Andrea Ribeca & Giuseppe Ottaviani aka Nu NRG (Nu-nrg) became legendary. Later on Giuseppe Ottaviani became an icon of Trance and he still is.

I started producing a remake of one of Nu NRG's best tracks with one of the most beautiful melodies back in 2010. But I couldn't figure out the right sound. Especially kick, lead synth and percussions have been a problem for me, but now I think I produced a consistent sound combination. Tell me what you think!

I will give the track away for free as a tribute to Andrea and Giuseppe. If there's any problem with that, please contact me and we will work something out.

Addliss began to DJ in 2004. First starting with Trance and later adding progressive sounds.
Don't miss out on his Podcast "Epiphany of Sound" as well where he presents Uplifting Trance beats every month!
