Quirkiness isn't always a good thing, though release "OFF the Life" by Son of Elita shows an opposite vision of that. All four tracks are remarkable distillation of personable minimalism and synthetic soul. Some of those tracks have glitchy twinkles, soft chords which are pairing nicely with a warm bassline. But some are lane and focused and keeps just a few elements at work: bassline, percussion, flecks of melody. Those few tucks will get a right way because each is engineered to be perfection. It's off-kilter and sort of captivating release that has a serious and modest approach to crafting dance floor bombs.
