Known to his close friends and family as Thabiso.
DJ Kanu was born, bread and buttered in the township of Soshanguve (Pretoria) in Gauteng.
This friendly fellow started his DJ career in 2003 as a mobile DJ at parties around Pretoria. He received major recognition in the fall of 2004.
His style of sexy Soulful House music is enjoyed and  basically played almost everywhere in and around Pretoria, from the dance floor to his most raved about Mix tapes. This is evident that music is his passion.

Trinidadian deep (UK) , Ganyani, Lulo Café, Thobs, Skinndeep, Mr.Cee, Miggs, Glen Lewis etc.
