Here's my take on the last 12 months which includes two tracks that appeared on the physical release of "Speck of Gold" in 2003 but were never released digitally as they didn't seem to fit the rest of the album. Now I know why, for me they resonate far more with present day issues and how people feel about life then they did back in the "noughties". Both tracks were co written with Matt Black and Jonathan More from Coldcut and Holly Chand. I also made a cover of "The World is a Ghetto" by War who I met at a gig in Los Angeles and have to say they are one of the best bands I have ever seen play live.
