I always wanted to play at Angels after hearing about the club and Paul Taylor's tapes and when I started Empire, Paul was one of the residents, so I asked (begged) him.
The club itself was always rammed. All levels, all corners..everywhere people just having it. Everytime I came out of the club I was soaking wet.
The guests were amazing, from Carl Cox to Joey Beltram to Oaky, to Healy to Sasha, even bloody Nigel Benn, the club hosted them all and holding it all together was Paul Taylor. The man himself. Paul always chose solid residents like Rick B and Grant who knew how to build the night up without out banging the guest.
The vibe was that good that the Angels brand is still going strong today and that is down to Paul and his team who adore the scene and adore the people. x
