DeciBel began his DJ career in Adelaide, 2014, after learning the ropes from the "2012 Australian Your Shot Winner" DJ Jalien (One half of Popcorn Thieves). He began spinning RnB, Commercial EDM, and Melbourne Bounce.

Midway through 2015 he moved to Melbourne and discovered his love of DnB, making an impact with Dance Mission, followed by the rest of the MLB DnB Crews. His style evolved from Dancefloor to Smooth Liquid, however his sets are highly diverse, and he is known for incorporating Grime, Half Time, Dubstep, Neuro and Glitch to create a style that is uniquely his own. The short time that he has been focused on DnB has seen him supporting names like Mob Tactics, Cyantific, Smooth, Matrix and Futurebound, Artificial Intellegence, Keeno, Etherwood, Royalston, Hugh Hardie and Logistics. DeciBel’s diversity, love for all genres of Bass, and enthusiasm for production has him well placed to continue building more creative and diverse sets, while contributing to Melbourne's eclectic scene.
