NoBorders Matt and Micky Best of 2015

Its that time of year when most of us are looking back over the last 12 months of record collecting and selecting some of our favourite purchases. I asked the good man Matt Richards if he fancied helping out as it always a pleasure having him over with his record bag. So hear it is, some of our picks of the year. Not all from 2015 but stuff we picked up throughout the year. We could have went on for hours as its been an awesome year for music as I'm sure many of you will agree.

A few thanks and shouts as we move towards 2016. So many people that have enlightened me, empowered me, mentored me and blown me away with their selections. I've felt like a student most of the year. Thanks Andy Pye and Balearic Social, thats been a constant and what of the mix he provided us, damn that wsa good. Cheers Nick Cubley and the Seek Magic lads for hosting my mixes and for an awesome guest mix for NoBorders. Cheers David Pickering and the BAOL lads, another great selection from your good self mate. David Barbarossa provided us with some hot Outernational 7"s for a mind blowing set broadcast back in November, cheers for that Pal. and to the guests who have agreed to get on board for mixes in 2016 who will remain nameless for now.

Massive thank you to the main Man Ed Davies for his phenomenal hard work, keeping everyone supplied with the warm wax. Cheers mate for the best service out there.

Cheers to all the lads down here on the southcoast, Nick Shearer, the cooler room sets have been a highlight and the Left Foot Forward nights were great, cheers for that Dude. Bevis Fenner and his DXM night, great concept mate, look forward to more of this in 2016. Kanaval Sam for the Acertate sessions, one of my favourite sets of the year mate. And cheers for all the hard work you put into Venn FM and the encouragement with NoBorders. Jake Reed, What can I say, what a selector, great stuff dude. Matt Richards, Damn that geezers good, been hanging from your coat tails for most of the year, cheers for all your support dude. Sean Oconnor, its been a true pleasure meeting you this year mate, one of lifes real good guys. Cheers for the hook up on the sought after N*** Cornfield record mate.... ha ha. Les Fisher, Mark G V Taylor, Lasse Bang, Her Mino and all the dudes from the Mighty Mellow and Reference Point, for Sure we will be hitting the 3 Kings and spiritland in the new year to hear your amazing selections. Grantie Williams for his constant energy and gift of the gab, Eclectics got legs in 2016 mate, Im feeling your vibe there. And of course all the peeps that love what we do, Not forgetting you David Board, Dan Orchard, Luke Griffiths and all our friends old and new. So many more people I havent mentioned here, you all know who you are..... Oh Yes, Simon Grayson, what a wonderful chance meeting at Lowlife this year.... Great stuff mate. Anyways thats it from me and my gushing, ha ha. Thanks one and all, for you support.... Feeling inspired.
