Now I will be the first to admit that in the past I was just a casual fan of Nipsey. Like I knew the JOINTS, but by no means was I completely versed in his catalog nor his social impact in California. But that’s what’s dope about where we are right now, there’s no timetable for discovery and you can find out as much as you want whenever you want.

So after revisiting his music and getting some recommendations, I chose to make a mix consisting of some music that I already knew, and some that I didn’t but instantly stood out to me when I heard it. My journey into becoming a Nipsey fan is far from over and I’m hoping this mix starts that same journey for some of you as well.
