The BusBoys are a musical group known for playing rock 'n' roll with a flavoring of soul, funk, and R&B. The group is best known for their appearance in the 1982 film 48 Hrs., in which they performed their songs "New Shoes" and "The Boys Are Back in Town".

In 1984 the group wrote "Cleanin' Up the Town," for the soundtrack to the film Ghostbusters, the song was a minor hit for the group, reaching #68 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart in the United States.
