...Born & Raised @ Plaka Athens in 1975, Solid Steve seems to be one the most sensual &
low-profile DJs of this lovely country named Greece.
Since he started DJing at his 14th year old, he acclaimed a music knowledge full of variety, starting up from Jazz, Disco, Funk and modern House & lead him after to the first listenings of Old Skool House & Techno. Steve had been also DJing under the Alias of Stevie S, many years ago...
He soon reserved his own style ID by picking up mainly some dry and cool sounds to represent his DJ sets such as Deep House/Nu-Jazz/Funk/Soul/Disco & Breaks. Always tracks with a parallel touch of electrism.
Steve has put up at many great either smaller underground places of Greece. Back in mid-90's, his appearances in Paros island were flying! With loads of successfull parties at Punda beach, Monastiri, Mezzo Mezzo, Linardo & Anemoessa. Some other spaces he has spinned at, are: Playroom, Amfitheatro, Groovin.., Bananna Moon, No Sofa, Havana, Whisper, Sina 6 , D-Bar , Loop , Daze & many more.
His sets can go deep, full of feeling, funky soul things & always with an underground attitude. You will notice many glamorous tricks while he..s "on-air". Things like: Acapellas, Reverse, Scratching, Backspin, VS-ing tracks together live... All these in order to create a solar wise and a solid atmosphere. That..s why he calls himself "Solid" Steve!
Furthermore, Stevie had some radioshow performances together with DJ Mike @ Channel 8 FM (1994). From the early ..00s until now, Steve is performing various guestings around Greece.
