New Sounds & Heart Beats

When the dance scene kicked off in the late 80’s I was very excited because I saw instantly that it was built on the creation of new sounds. Thanks to sampling, it became possible to turn any sound into a new musical instrument. Prior to the emergence of the dance scene the only interesting new sounds I could find were coming from the New Age scene but I found most of it rather boring. Dance music added a heart beat that was able to connect musical genres across the world. Much of what I consider to be dance music is not for dancing but the heart beat of dance rhythms has a unifying power. Enjoy, and if you do, enjoy please Share and Favourite. Howard.
