Casual mix alors que j’étais de passage à Bruxelles pour visiter des amis et par la même occasion rencontrer mon dernier gros coup de coeur en matière de hip hop francophone, et musique en général – peet du collectif 77 (article/interview à venir). Une bonne partie de la sélection est un petit hommage au rap belge qui monte et qui fait beaucoup de bien au monde, avec JeanJass, L’Or du Commun, peet, Roméo Elvis x Le Motel. On retrouve aussi un morceau exclusif de Barnaby Carter, que j’ai été retrouver à Bristol. C’était un vrai plaisir de rencontrer le crew de Cloudfunk, beaucoup d’amour dans l’air. - Qu'est-ce que vous pensez des Belges?
"Qu'ils s'intègrent pas assez avec nous." (rires)

In the year 2000, I made a sound collage and thesis, with interviews of inhabitants (youngsters and retired people) of Molenbeek (neighbourhood in Brussels with a mixture of Belgian and Belgian-Moroccan population). Interviews in French and Dutch. Music by La Résistance, L'Ordonnance, "L'étranger au Paradis" (Gloria Lasso). This documentary still carries a message about the different attitudes, struggles and questions about life in the big city - unfortunately not much has changed.
