My name is Tony and I produce music as toez. The music I make is mainly of a soul and groovy kind of drum and bass but I have also played with other genres such as house as I fancy. I started making music in 1996 but didn't send out a single demo until 2011 when I sent out a track in AIM called Holland and got it played on Radio1 on Fabio's show, it was signed soon after on TMG. Since then I have had a steady stream of releases on Soul Deep, Think Deep, Sonata, Touch Tone, Soul Bros., Liquid Drops and more, and I am thankful to all for signing the material and giving it an audience. I am old enough to have been in raves and clubs as far back as 1991 so my music probably reflects that sound and the music since, from house to hip hop to techno and more. I am not a technical type and it probably shows in my production, but I make music not science

Matthew Batchelor (Modu) is a Bristol based Drum and Bass producer and DJ. After working his way through the scene over the past 5 years, building up a back catalogue of singles, remixes and EP releases on respected labels such as Inside Records, Horizons X, Soul Deep Recordings, Inform Records, Velcro City Records, Subsphere Records, Pristine Records, Jazzfunk, Alchemic Breakz, Artist Recordings, Liquid Tones and Scientia. 2015 saw the release of matt's first vinyl release, a collaboration track with Xanadu released on his debut LP on Dom & Roland Productions. During his time at Exeter University Matt held a number of resident and headline DJ slots at Beats and Bass Thick as Thieves nights as well as their festival HiJacked and GetMe nights. He has also now been signed onto the Inform Artists DJ booking agency and has played across the UK in cities including London, Exeter, Leeds and Bristol. With ever growing support from drum and bass scene from the likes of Kasra, Fourward, Liquicity, LTJ Bukem, Xanadu, Mota, Fred V & Grafix, BBC radio 1xtra, Scenic & Advisory and Scott Allen. Modu is setting the stage for a bigger and better future.

The end result is a timeless fusion that’s resonated with fans from all corners of the dance and the biggest names in the game.



Rewind to 1995: Mat South’s vision of integration began almost 20 years ago when he was drip-fed tape packs from his older brother. Immersing himself fully into rave culture as soon as he could pull of a fake ID stunt, he progressed from the dancefloor to the decks to promoting major club events on the English Riviera within a matter of years. Production was the final piece in his widescreen high definition snapshot of our scene. Instead of bombarding every label on the planet, he aimed high and sent his distinctive inventions solely to the scene’s biggest ambassadors: Hype and Andy C. The two heavyweights have represented the T>I sound since the mid 2000s and remain his biggest supporters to date.



The same high level of DJ praise was scored with his work outside of drum & bass jungle. In 2010 his thick, bass-tickled breakbeat brew ‘Tokyo Terror’ won love from Rennie Pilgrem while his paranoid, subverted dubstep cuts ‘Howard’s Note’ and ‘Mindless Torture’ enjoyed heavy airplay from none other than Flux Pavillion and Doctor P.



D&B being his first and foremost love, it’s here where T>I was determined to make his biggest dent. Which he’s done so since 2012 via Marky’s legendary Innerground. Hazard dropped his then-unsigned ‘Freak’ at Innovation and Brazil’s finest D&B diplomat went bananas, demanding to sign it… Weeks later a label deal was signed with Innerground introducing T>I as one of the leading artists to develop the label’s fresher, slightly darker sound. Several EPs and album contributions later – plus appearances on Silent Type & Sativa’s heavyweight Hangar imprint and Hype’s heavyweight Playaz brand – and T>I’s reputation has developed unavoidable momentum.

Rewind to 1995: Mat South’s vision of integration began almost 20 years ago when he was drip-fed tape packs from his older brother. Immersing himself fully into rave culture as soon as he could pull of a fake ID stunt, he progressed from the dancefloor to the decks to promoting major club events on the English Riviera within a matter of years. Production was the final piece in his widescreen high definition snapshot of our scene. Instead of bombarding every label on the planet, he aimed high and sent his distinctive inventions solely to the scene’s biggest ambassadors: Hype and Andy C. The two heavyweights have represented the T>I sound since the mid 2000s and remain his biggest supporters to date. The same high level of DJ praise was scored with his work outside of drum & bass jungle. In 1999 Kama-D started doing his first jungle parties in Bremen, Hamburg, Hannover, Mannheim - Germany. The first party was a ram label night at Tivoli Bremen. Who knows the music of ram at this time comprehends that he was just infected of the great show of the uk artists. One year later he started mixing drum n bass and still doing it in the meantime.
First he prefered to mix dark and heavy drum n bass beats like Bad Company or music of Renegade Hardware, the DSCI4 label and perhaps still the sounds of Ram, also Jump Up styles like Aphrodite, Hype, Zinc and so on. Then he did a little journey to Liquid beats and came to Klute with Commercial Suicide which was a long time his favourite label. A change started in 2008 when he listened to the Summermix and the following mixes of Doc Scott. He noticed his love for minimalistic and deep Drum n Bass beats. Now Kama-D wants to unite different styles in his mixes.

BEN SOUNDSCAPE - ( INTRIGUE MUSIC )

Ben Soundscape started out in the drum & bass scene at 17, producing his first break beat at school. He remembers becoming hooked on drum & bass when he first ventured out to a nightclub with friends in Bristol. It was around that time he started listening to Fabio & Grooverider’s seminal Radio 1 show, and got the itch to get into serious production.

Danny C was the first to notice Ben, signing him up for debut release on his fledgling Blue Box label when Ben was just 19. Soon after, Ben formed a duo with childhood friend Joe Wills, later becoming The Insiders. Together they would draw influences from everything from soul, funk and jazz to blues and film soundtracks, and go on to release material on some of the greatest labels in the scene. So far in his career, Ben has produced tracks for Creative Source, Renegade Recordings, Metalheadz, 31 Records, Frontline, Defunked, Nu Directions, Good Looking Records (as Catch 22) and Blue Box (as First Light).

Ben is the driving force behind Intrigue, the club night, started a decade ago at an intimate sweatbox in Bristol. Fast forward to eleven years later, and the night has gone from strength to strength, attracting big guests and sell-out numbers to Dojo Lounge every other month. In 2009 Ben began the natural progression for Intrigue – his own label Intrigue Music, an outlet for deep drum & bass from both rising stars and established artists. With the quality of music the label continues to release, it’s no wonder Intrigue Music attracts major attention and support from both DJs, drum & bass heads and the press alike.

BEN SOUNDSCAPE - ( INTRIGUE MUSIC )

Ben Soundscape started out in the drum & bass scene at 17, producing his first break beat at school. He remembers becoming hooked on drum & bass when he first ventured out to a nightclub with friends in Bristol. It was around that time he started listening to Fabio & Grooverider’s seminal Radio 1 show, and got the itch to get into serious production.

Danny C was the first to notice Ben, signing him up for debut release on his fledgling Blue Box label when Ben was just 19. Soon after, Ben formed a duo with childhood friend Joe Wills, later becoming The Insiders. Together they would draw influences from everything from soul, funk and jazz to blues and film soundtracks, and go on to release material on some of the greatest labels in the scene. So far in his career, Ben has produced tracks for Creative Source, Renegade Recordings, Metalheadz, 31 Records, Frontline, Defunked, Nu Directions, Good Looking Records (as Catch 22) and Blue Box (as First Light).

Ben is the driving force behind Intrigue, the club night, started a decade ago at an intimate sweatbox in Bristol. Fast forward to eleven years later, and the night has gone from strength to strength, attracting big guests and sell-out numbers to Dojo Lounge every other month. In 2009 Ben began the natural progression for Intrigue – his own label Intrigue Music, an outlet for deep drum & bass from both rising stars and established artists. With the quality of music the label continues to release, it’s no wonder Intrigue Music attracts major attention and support from both DJs, drum & bass heads and the press alike.
