We're swiftly onto mix 3 in our new guest mix series with DJ Otis Funkmeyer. He has been collecting funk records for the past 20 years. More than half of his collection is on the 45 format because so many songs in the genre were only ever released on 45 and also because of their superior sound quality. His passion has led him to spin at venues, radio shows, websites, parties, and weddings across the US. He was also the bandleader and guitarist for The Otis Funkmeyer Band in NYC for 15 years. This set is a mix of favorites, rarities, auction scores, and recent finds from digging up local spots in northern New Jersey.
