Organic electronics, trombone, violin, guitar and vocals complement each other and create an uplifting feeling of catchiness that is clearly reminiscent of a hymn. “One World, Our Future” is bursting with pressure and sublime psychedelic elements, the title “Darkness” is a mesmerizing story that takes place in the mysterious twilight between a golden sunrise and a thunderstorm of bass. Last but not least there's “Out Of Train”, a track that is dubby and dope as it can be, yet based on a sturdy dance floor groove.

Aber im Falle von Mollono.Bass & Friends manifestiert sich jenes Gefühl der tiefen Verbundenheit in Form von Rhythmus und Klang – deshalb ist es hochgradig ansteckend, denn in Reichweite der Lautsprecher befindet man sich buchstäblich auf einer Wellenlänge mit allen anderen. Echte Freundschaft ist vielschichtig, sie baut sich auf einer Vielzahl von Faktoren auf, und genau das strahlt der Titel „Friends“ aus. Organische Elektronik, Trombone, Violine, Gitarre und Gesang ergänzen sich zu geradezu hymnenhafter Eingängigkeit. „One World, Our Future“ macht ordentlich Druck und kommt mit feingliedriger Psychedelik daher, der Titel „Darkness“ bewegt sich mit seinen melancholisch-verträumten Vocals ebenfalls im Spannungsfeld zwischen kurzweiligem Kopfkino und wuchtigem Bassgewitter. Dass die Stichworte dubbig und dope durchaus auch zwischen treibenden Vierviertel-Beats Sinn machen, das wiederum wiederum stellt „Out Of Train“ unter Beweis.
