1992 - 072904 Summer Vibe pt2 (320kbps)

This one and several others after it couldn't have been done without my friend Chris Julio of Allentown PA. I didn't have a paypal at the time and I had gotten ripped off with buying records from the UK so I was quite afraid of buying records from there. Chris on the other hand was not. He had this thing where he would buy records on the internet, rip them to .wavs and then sell off the records to recoup the money he spent on them. I was mainly the one to buy them when he was done with them. However I don't think he charged me quite enough for the records he had bought because I'm now buying the records directly from people in the UK and they cost quite a bit more then 10 bucks a pop, more like 40 or 50 each and some of them 250.00ea (Ironik "My Fantasy".. ouch!). He was doing me more of a favor then I had originally thought. Sadly I've lost contact with Chris shortly after I recorded Summervibe part 8.

This mix is also the first I mastered using plug ins. I was doing my best at the time. Due to this the high end is a bit too sharp. I've since gone back in and remastered the audio so I can make a 320kbps MP3. It was orignally 192kbps.

I also gave this one out to the carnival that does the NJ Farm & Horse Show (now its called the NJ State Fair). I got quite a kick out of hearing this ride play from the sound system of the drop tower ride. The moment when the mother of a kid that was on the ride was clapping her hands to The Brothers Grimm "Field of Dreams" tune was very amusing.
