BEWARE OF IMPOSTERS! I'VE BEEN THE ORIGINAL CAPTAIN MANIAC SINCE 1974. For over 40 years, I was drummer and sometime lead vocalist for Vancouver's ultimate party rockers, Sparkling Apple (their specialty: "drunk rock", which you had to be drunk to play and drunk to appreciate). Nowadays, yours truly is a podcasting/Internet radio DJ and graphic artist, with my own program entitled "The Captain Maniac Show" -- imaginative or what? Rather than subject listeners to one particular genre of music, our typical presentations cover a wide spectrum of rock and roll, from 60s British Invasion to Rockabilly to 50s rockers to Psychedelic Oldies and all points in between.
