A la sombra del templo mi amigo y yo vimos a un ciego, sentado allí, solitario.

  • Mira -dijo mi amigo- : ese es el hombre más sabio de nuestra tierra.
    Me separé de mi amigo y me acerqué al ciego. Lo saludé. Y conversamos.
    Poco después le dije:
  • Perdona mi pregunta: ¿desde cuándo eres ciego?
  • Desde que nací -fue su respuesta.
  • ¿Y que sendero de sabiduría sigues? -le dije entonces.
  • Soy astrónomo - me contestó el ciego.- Luego, se llevó la mano al pecho, y dijo: - Sí; observo todos estos soles, y estas lunas, y estas estrellas.
